Configure your archive format

How do I configure my archive format?

On your platform, you can configure the format of your archive for export. You can customize the name of your archive, the folder nomenclature, decide to export only certain documents or certain stages (in a single pdf) and re-use this repository export by yourself or your collaborators. To do this, simply open your program and follow the steps below :

  1. Click on the “ Configurations ” menu, then on “ Archive format ”



  1. Then click on the “ Configure a new format or Add ” button. 



You'll be taken to an interface where you can configure the information to be included or excluded from your archive format.
  1.  Format title : This is the name your format will bear.
  2. Configure archive name : By default, the archive takes the name of the program, but you can change it at any time.
  3. Configure folder names in the zip archive : By default, folder names are made up as follows: Lastname-firstname-candidate-folder-reference
  4. Select separator : You can use either the 6-dash (-) or the 8-dash (_) separator to separate folder names.
  5. Configure forms : By default, each form step is added to the archive in pdf format.
  6. Configure files to exclude : By default, all files uploaded by the candidate are included in the archive. With this option you can exclude the ones you don't want (file fields are organized by form).
  7. Advanced options : Allows you to include the export of comments, the activity log and messages in Excel by checking the box in front of each of these options.
The configuration steps are as follows : 
  1. The format title is the name you give to your format and is filled in by an entry.



  1. The name entered is that of the archive format after validation.



  1. Concerning archive name configuration, by default the archive takes the program name, but you can change it.



  1. The default configuration for folder names in the zip archive is as follows: Lastname-firstname-candidate-folder-reference. However, you have the option of customizing it. The “ x ” button deletes the choice made, while the “ + ” button adds another choice to be selected from the drop-down list.”

 The folder name configuration must contain at least one unique type field: Folder reference or number. 



  1. When exporting the zip archive with our format, the information chosen when configuring folder names will be retained. The result will be as follows: Lastname-firstname-candidate-folder-reference.


  1. For form configuration: By default, each form step is added to the archive in PDF format. However, you can exclude certain forms by checking the box next to that form.
By checking the box next to the form, this form will be excluded from your export.



  1. You can merge the forms to be included into a single PDF file by checking the box next to it.



  1. Once you've activated this function, you'll get the following result from your ZIP archive exports : a single PDF file containing all forms.



  1. You can also place each file in a folder named after the corresponding question by checking the box next to it.


  1. Once you've activated this function, you'll get the following result when exporting as a ZIP archive : each file will be placed in a folder bearing the name of the corresponding question title.



  1. Configure files to exclude: By default, all files uploaded by the candidate are included in the archive. With this option, you can exclude the files you don't want by clicking on the arrow next to them, which moves them to the column of files to exclude from the archive.



  1. You can choose to include the export of comments in Excel format in your archive by checking the corresponding box. 



  1. Once you've activated this function, you'll get this result when exporting as a ZIP archive: an Excel file containing the comments.



  1. You can choose to include the activity log export in Excel format in your archive by checking the box next to this option.



  1. Once you've activated this function, you'll get the following result from your ZIP archive exports: an activity log file in Excel format.



  1. You can include the export of messages in Excel format in your archive by checking the box next to this option.



  1. Once you've activated this function, you'll get this result when exporting in ZIP archive format: a message file in Excel format.



  1. Once you've configured the various parameters of your archive format, click on the  “ Validate ” button to save it.
