What are the types of questions on a form?

The form contains two categories of fields as:
  • Separators

  • Questions

Questions are used to build the form, and separators are used to structure the form.

What are the different types of separators?

The form contains separators such as :
  • Quote: this separator allows you to add quotes to the form
  • Title : it's a separator that allows to segment the form with titles

  • Paragraph : it is a separator that allows you to add text as a paragraph within the form

  • Video: this is a separator that allows you to add a video to the form for the candidates

  • Image: this is a separator that allows you to add an image to the form for the candidates

What are the different types of questions?

The form contains several categories of questions such as:
  • Text questions

  • Choice Questions

  • Other questions

Text questions

These are questions that allow candidates to answer with either text:

  • Long text: The applicant's response can be long. However, the form editor can limit the minimum and maximum number of characters

  • Short text: the candidate's answer must be short and must not exceed 45 characters

The choice questions

These are questions that allow candidates to answer with a :

  • Unique choice: it is a question that allows only one choice of answer

  • Multiple choice: it is a question which allows several choices of answers

  • A drop-down list: this is a question that allows the candidate to choose an answer from a list

  • Yes / No: this is a question that allows the candidate to answer with Yes or No

The other questions

These are questions that require a specific response from the candidate. They include:

  • The Group of questions : it is a question which allows to contain several questions in a recursive block

  • The table: it allows the candidate to answer directly in a table

  • The file: it is a question that allows the candidate to attach a file to his file (pdf, word, excel...)

  • URL: this is a question that allows the candidate to enter a url link as an answer

  • Scoring and linear scale: these two questions allow the candidate to quantify the nature of his/her response, either with a number or a scale

  • Date: this is a question that allows the candidate to answer through a calendar

  • Address: this is a question that allows the candidate to enter an address

  • Telephone: this is a question with a list of codes, which allows the candidate to fill in his telephone number

  • Country: this is a question containing a drop-down list of all countries, which allows the candidate to choose a country as an answer

  • Email: This is a question that allows the candidate to answer, by providing an email address

  • Siren Fr : this is a question that allows the candidate to enter the Siren number of a company
