Request for deletion of deposits

Request for deletion of deposits

How do I activate the deposit deletion request?

Respondents can delete a submission if it has not passed any validation step (intermediate and/or final).

However, if the deposit passes a validation step (intermediate and/or final), then the user can no longer delete the deposit.

This feature allows you to activate the request for deletion of a deposit when a validation step has been passed.
This can be useful in the context of the RGPD regulation related to the deletion of user data.

To activate this feature, simply go to your program:
  1. On the "Configuration" menu
  2. Then the "Features" menu

When this feature is enabled, the user can then make a request to delete a deposit, even if the deposit passes a validation step.

You can create a rule via automation to be alerted when a respondent makes a request to delete a deposit.
To do so, please consult our article on automation by clicking here.
By activating the feature, a new menu entitled "Deletion requests" is available.

This is where you will find the list of deletion requests.
You have the choice to accept or refuse the request. To do this, click on the "..." in the Actions column.

You can find the list of completed requests on the "Processed requests" tab.

The respondent will then automatically receive an email response indicating acceptance or rejection of their request.
