How to setup a manual transition step

The WIIN.io platform allows to create manual transitions on intermediate validation steps.

What is a manual transition?

Manual transition is a feature that allows you to :
  • Validate a file: the candidate accesses the rest of the course

  • Rejecting an application: the candidate's career ends here

  • Allow to modify a file: the applicant can modify his file and resubmit his deposit

  1. When applicants submit their deposits on an intermediate validation step with manual transition, the deposit changes from "In Progress" to "Pending Validation" status.

Where is the Manual Transition function?

The manual transition is a function located in :
  • The "Configuration" menu
  • Then "Course"
  • Within the intermediate validation step

How to setup the manual transition?

To activate the manual transition, you must first add a "Final Send" step to your route.
Info
For more information on the final submission stage, see our article on the intermediate validation step
  1. Click on the "Set up a manual transition" button to activate it on your step.

Once activated, you will need to fill in additional messages when the repository is :
  • Waiting for validation : message when the applicant has submitted his deposit and is now waiting for a feedback from you (validate his deposit or not)
  • Rejected: message to indicate to the applicant that his or her application has not been retained for further processing
You can also activate the sending of an email for each of these messages.
All you have to do is select the email template to integrate.
The applicant will then automatically receive an email when their application is pending, validated or rejected.
