The different types of triggers

The different types of triggers

What is a trigger?

A trigger is an event that occurs in the system. By selecting a trigger, you will be able to execute one or more actions.

To find triggers, you need to :
  1. Go to your program's "Automation" menu and click on "Add a rule".
For your automation to work properly, triggers must be followed by an operation. It is the operation that will give the action to follow when an event occurs.

We have several triggers :
  1. Response created : this rule is triggered when a new response is created.
  2. Response deleted : this rule is triggered when a response deleted.
  3. Response validated : this rule is triggered when a final sending step is validated.
  4. Response awaiting validation : this rule is triggered when a definitive sending step is awaiting validation.
  5. Response rejected : this rule is triggered when a final send step is rejected.
  6. Response submitted : this rule is triggered when a final send step is validated.
  7. Message received : This rule is triggered when the administrator received a new message from a candidate.
  8. Tagged response : This rule is triggered when a tag is applied to an application
  9. Commented application : This rule is triggered when a comment is added to an application
  10. Request for deletion of a deposit : This rule is triggered when an applicant makes a deletion request for a deposit.
  11. Scheduled date : This rule will run on the scheduled date. You must select the repositories on which the rule is to run.
  12. Payment received : This rule is triggered when a candidate made a successfully  payment.
  13. Evaluation completed : This rule is triggered when a reviewer has evaluated an application

Notes
For your automation to work properly, triggers must be followed by an operation. It's this operation that gives the action to be taken when an event occurs.
