In the process of configuring an automation, it's important, once you've selected the trigger, to associate it with an operation containing the actions to be executed. In this article, we'll show you how to configure the “Send slack notification” action. To do so, please follow the steps below :
- Once you've selected the trigger to which your action will be associated, click on the "Add an operation" button.
- This takes you to the list of operations. Click on “New operation”.
- Then select the “Send a slack notification” action.

You will now proceed to the following steps :
- Select a connection (the name of your slack space)
Define the type of recipient :
- User: concerns all users available in your Slack space.
- Group: concerns groups created and available in your Slack space.
- Channel: concerns channels created and available in your Slack space.
In our example, we have chosen "User".
- Depending on the type of recipient selected, indicate in the "Recipient" section who should receive the message when the notification is sent.
- Finally, enter the text in the reserved field in the "Message content" section.
- Save your action configuration by clicking on the "Save" button below.
You've just finished configuring the “Send slack notification” action. All that remains is to enter the name of your automation, bearing in mind that this action is linked to a trigger in order to create an automated process.
- Finally, save your configuration by clicking on the “Save” button in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
- Your automation is now displayed in the Automation menu
