How to create an automation with the trigger : Scheduled date ?
The platform allows you to configure an automation triggered on a specific date. To do this, you must use the “Scheduled date” trigger. This rule will run automatically on the set date. You must also select the deposits to which it should apply.
Follow the steps below to set up this automation :
In your program, click on the “Automation” menu, then on the “Add a rule” button.
Click on the “Scheduled Date” trigger (This rule will run on the scheduled date. You must select the repositories on which the rule should run).
You will be taken to an interface where you will need to:
Select the date and time from which the rule will be executed (in our example, we have chosen 06/08/2025 at 1:29 p.m.).
Filter the repositories affected by this rule (This automation rule will run on all repositories returned by your filter)
To filter repositories, you must first select the field (or column) to condition.
Before saving this rule, review it carefully to ensure that everything is correct, as once it is launched, you will not be able to cancel it.
Then, choose the condition to apply (is/is not).
Finally, enter the value to be compared.
If necessary, you can refine the filter further by clicking on the “Add a new filter” button.
In our example, we chose the date 06/08/2025 at 1:29 p.m. and filtered deposits with the status “In progress.”
After selecting the repositories on which the rule should run and the date, you must now add an operation to finalize the trigger configuration. To do this, click on the “Add an operation” button.
Once you have associated the action with your trigger, enter the name of your automation, then save the configuration by clicking on the “Save” button at the top right of your screen.
Your automation now appears in the Automation menu.
