When configuring automation, once you have selected the trigger, it is important to associate it with an operation containing the actions or conditions to be executed. In this article, we will show you how to configure the “Condition on tag fields” condition. To do this, please follow these steps:
- After selecting the trigger to which your action will be associated, click on the “Add an operation” button.
This condition only works for the following event(s): Submission tagged and Tag removed from submission
- You will then be taken to the list of operations. Click on “New Condition.”
- Then, select the condition “Condition on tags field.”
You will now configure the condition on the tag :
- Select the operation to performe
- Select one or more tags that the repository must have for the condition to be taken into account.
Tags must have been created beforehand
- Save your action settings by clicking on the “Save” button located just below.
- This interface indicates that a “Submission Tagged” trigger has been configured, associated with a “New Condition” operation of the “Condition on Tag Fields” type, with the ‘Accepted’ tag selected. It is now necessary to add the action to be performed. To do this, click on the “Add Operation” button.
- You will then access the operations interface, where you will need to select the “New action” operation. This operation allows you to select the actions to associate with the conditions in order to finalize the setup of your automation with the “Condition on tag fields” condition.
Once you have finished configuring the action, all you have to do is enter the name of your automation. Keep in mind that this action is associated with a trigger defined under a condition, with the aim of creating an automated process.
- Finally, save your configuration by clicking on the “Save” button at the top right of the screen.
- Your automation now appears in the Automation menu.
